Being foodie is fun; it makes you try new every day or every time you get a chance! Food lovers like me never get tired of visiting new restaurants or café or satisfy midnight hunger. Well, as I am fonder of desi cuisine, I search for a good traditional eatery that excites my taste buds. A month without having hangouts and some spices properly mixed in a crunchy meal feels empty and cause boredom.
I was offered a treat by one of my relatives last week and I happily accepted the offer. The destination I chose to satisfy my cravings was Kebabistan, located near Maskan chorangi. Although it was a cold night, we prefer to sit in an open area, where we could fully enjoy the chilly winds and aroma of Karachi and other dishes being prepared in the kitchen. The crew of Kebabistan behaved well and politely with us, the way we treat our guests.
We just went through a vast list of menu to order the best item, which seemed petty hard. We finally managed to come up to a decision and ordered mutton Karahi and Mughlai tawa chicken along with garlic naan and limca. After a couple of minutes, our menu was being served on our table. Karahi was good, I was expecting spicier and chilly (that could work as a fire in my mouth). However, that taste was good enough for people who like low spicy food or who cannot bear more chillies. Apart from that, that creamy Mughlai tawa chicken when eaten with soft garlic naan just won my heart. It was like something that is just melting in my mouth. Cream having chunks of shredded chicken were awesome.
I was already in love with Kebabs of Kebabistan that I tried earlier, the taste of karahi and tawa chicken satisfied me. The overall eatery was good and I can rate it 9 out of 10.
In addition to all these, the ambiance was also good and appealing; we managed to take a lot of selfies while waiting for our meal, within the restaurant and in the open area too. That was proper hygiene system and the manager took great care of us to make sure we eat well. The entire experience was memorable; I would definitely recommend my audience to try Kebabistan at least once with your peers and family.
